Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
VeveTrack enables seamless cab and taxi bookings across Chennai and Tamil Nadu. We understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and any applicable charges when you cancel a booking.
2. Customer Cancellations
2.1 Cancellation Before Driver Assignment
If you cancel your booking before a driver has been assigned, the cancellation is free of charge. Any advance payment made will be fully refunded as per our Refund Policy.
2.2 Cancellation After Driver Assignment
Once a driver has been assigned and confirmed:

| After driver has started travelling to pickup | Actual distance travelled by driver (at applicable rate) |
2.3 No-Show
If you are not present at the pickup location when the driver arrives, and we are unable to reach you within 10 minutes, the booking will be treated as a cancellation. A no-show fee of ₹100 or the base fare (whichever is higher) will apply.
3. Operator / Admin Cancellations
If the operator or VeveTrack admin cancels a confirmed booking on behalf of the platform (e.g., no available driver, vehicle breakdown), you will receive:
- Immediate notification via SMS and/or email
- A full refund of any advance payment with no penalty
- Where possible, an offer to re-book with the next available driver
4. How to Cancel a Booking
To cancel a booking:
- Contact the operator or admin directly through the VeveTrack platform, or
- Call or message the assigned driver, or
- Email us at support@vevetrack.com with your Booking ID (e.g., BK-XXXX) and reason for cancellation.
All cancellations must be communicated through one of the above channels. Verbal cancellations not recorded on the platform will not be accepted.
5. Force Majeure
Cancellations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, government-mandated lockdowns, floods, or other force majeure events — will not attract any cancellation charges. Full refunds will be issued in such cases.
6. Repeated Cancellations
Customers or operators who repeatedly cancel bookings without valid reason may have their accounts reviewed or temporarily suspended to maintain service reliability for all users.
7. SMS Notifications on Cancellation
Upon cancellation (by either party), an SMS confirmation will be sent to the registered mobile number. This is a transactional message and cannot be opted out of, as it serves as an official record of the booking status change.
8. Amendments to This Policy
VeveTrack reserves the right to update this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
